Hollywood actress Katherine Heigl said she is insecure about her looks and would rather look like Nicole Richie.

The 30-year-old, who recently adopted baby daughter Nancy Leigh from South Korea, admitted that she gets insecure about her appearance.

She said to UK magazine S: “My own insecurity makes me want to look like Nicole Richie but I’m 5ft 9ins and have substantial breasts, hips and everything else so it’s never going to happen.”

However she hopes that her success will make her a role model for young girls, she said: “I want them to think: ‘She’s on television and she looks like me.’

“Because you know what’s important? Living well and not eating boring salads. Eat Brie and have a glass of red wine.”

Katherine donated thousands of dollars to transport abandoned and homeless chihuahuas of Calif. to NH where they are rare so that they could find loving homes!!!!They arrived in NH yesterday. What a sweet and caring person to advocated for these helpless and terrified little creatures. Thank you Katherine. Don’t ever change and continue your advocacy for those among us with no voice. NH Grandma.

Kudos to Katherine for paying to have small breed dogs flown to New Hampshire to help ease the overpopulation of shelters in LA. We here in NH seem to have a better handle on the whole spay and neuter thing.

Glad to hear about Katherine compassion towards abandoned dogs and actually make the effort to help.I read her past interviews when she’s still a tenager and learned about her hope and dream in life and so glad that she didn’t change much, she still compassionate and loyal to her friends and to the people she loves and matter most. I really admire this woman who even with her busy schedule in acting still reserved some of her precious time to lend a hand to bring awareness in ‘organ donation’, ‘health for kids’ ‘breast cancer’ and now ‘hound of hope’ for abandoned dogs all this is really a great cause. So kudos to Katherine Heigl!! She not just a great actress but a great person too and before anybody diss her, yes she has flaws , who hasn’t? She ain’t perfect , thank God, but she’s a great person.
